Maggie My fuzzy, ornery cat, who was quite literally born in a barn—our barn, to be exact—in April 2009.  Of the many kittens that have been born on our farm, she’s the only one with long hair… so of course I had to claim her as my own, who lived with me in my first apartment during college and who is the only cat allowed inside my mother’s house.  The other barn cats haven’t quite figured that one out.

Sounion, Greece One of my favorite memories from the semester I spent in Greece—Sounion is situated on the southern tip of the Attica peninsula.  On the top of the cliffs that jut out into the Aegean is the Temple of Poseidon.  This is the view from the top of the cliffs… no wonder the ancients made this a sacred site, huh?
